Νάξος

It is located right in the middle of the Aegean Sea surrounded by the islands of Paros, Ios, Amorgos and Koufonisia.  It is the most fertile island in the complex and has the highest mountain, the mount Zas, of all Cyclades islands. The island’ s history goes back to the Neolithic period.
