Greece is getting a new cruise offering for the winter season, as Celestyal introduces a series of new sailings aboard the Celestyal Journey for winter 2027/28.
Beginning in December 2027, the new programme will feature seven cruise options, including an updated version of the popular Three Continents itinerary. Travellers will have the chance to discover Greece alongside destinations in Turkey, Cyprus and Egypt, combining several Mediterranean countries in one trip.
Discover Greece in Winter
Four new seven-night “Mediterranean Mosaics” cruises will connect Athens and Istanbul, offering different routes through the Eastern Mediterranean.
Two sailings will depart from Piraeus, visiting Alexandria in Egypt, where the ship will stay overnight, as well as Limassol, Rhodes and Istanbul. Departures are scheduled for December 4 and 18, 2027, with fares starting from €699 per person.
Two additional cruises will depart from Istanbul and travel towards Athens, with stops including Thessaloniki, Volos, Kusadasi and Heraklion. These sailings are scheduled for December 11 and 25, 2027.
A Three-Continent Mediterranean Adventure
Travellers looking for a longer getaway can combine the two itineraries into a 14-night cruise covering Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Egypt.
The journey includes destinations such as Athens, Alexandria, Limassol, Rhodes, Istanbul, Thessaloniki, Volos, Kusadasi and Heraklion, offering an opportunity to experience historic cities, Greek islands and diverse Mediterranean cultures in a single holiday.
Fares for the 14-night itinerary start from €1,229 per person.
The cruise fares include meals in the main restaurants, unlimited soft drinks with meals, Wi-Fi, port fees and gratuities.
With departures from Athens and a choice of seven- or 14-night itineraries, Celestyal’s new programme offers travellers a different way to experience Greece and the Mediterranean beyond the traditional summer season.
