Travelling between Greece and Germany is set to become even easier next summer, as Condor prepares to launch a new daily connection between Athens and Frankfurt from April 2027.
The German airline will begin operating the new route on April 28, 2027, adding another direct option for travellers flying between the Greek capital and Frankfurt. The service will operate daily during the summer season, giving both Greek and international travellers greater flexibility when planning a trip.
The new Athens route is part of Condor’s wider expansion from Frankfurt, with the airline also introducing new connections to Florence and Stockholm in 2027. Following the expansion, Condor will serve 16 European destinations from its Frankfurt base.
For travellers from Greece, the new route is particularly interesting not only for visiting Frankfurt, but also for connecting onwards through the German airport. Condor’s Frankfurt network includes long-haul destinations across North America, the Caribbean, Africa and other international markets, creating additional possibilities for travellers planning longer trips.
Frankfurt itself also makes an appealing destination for a city break, combining museums, historic neighbourhoods, the River Main and a lively food and cultural scene. With a daily flight available from Athens, the German city becomes an even more convenient option for a short European getaway.
The new service will launch just ahead of the busy summer travel season, offering another choice for travellers planning their 2027 holidays and European trips.
