Greece will have a significant presence in Jet2’s Summer 2028 holiday programme, with 16 destinations across the country included in the UK airline and tour operator’s latest offering. Bookings opened on 8 October 2026, giving British travellers an opportunity to organise their next summer holiday well ahead of the season.

The programme forms part of Jet2’s wider expansion of advance bookings, with more than 20.9 million seats available across 533 routes from its 14 UK airport bases. The company expects to operate more than 1,800 departing flights per week across its network during peak periods.

Connections across mainland Greece and the islands

Jet2’s Greek offering spans a variety of destinations, including Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania, Heraklion, Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos, Rhodes, Kos, Santorini, Skiathos, Preveza, Kalamata, Kavala, Lesvos and Samos.

The network provides access to both established holiday hotspots and destinations offering different experiences of Greece, from island escapes and coastal resorts to mainland cities and regional getaways.

Connectivity varies by destination and UK departure airport. Heraklion, Rhodes and Zakynthos will receive flights from all 14 UK bases, while Corfu and Kos will be connected to 13. Kefalonia will be served from 11 bases, while Thessaloniki, Preveza and Skiathos will each have connections from 10.

Manchester and Birmingham stand out for their extensive Greek networks, with flights covering all 16 destinations.

An early start for tourism planning

With the Summer 2028 programme available to book almost two years in advance, the announcement gives travellers greater scope to secure preferred dates and accommodation.

For Greek tourism businesses, early visibility of flight connections can also support longer-term planning, particularly for accommodation providers preparing inventory, pricing and marketing campaigns for the British market.

The programme will run from Easter through to the October half-term holidays, offering travel opportunities beyond the traditional peak summer months.

The announcement reinforces Greece’s place within Jet2’s Mediterranean offering as the company prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Summer 2028.
