SKY express is continuing to strengthen its route network by introducing new domestic and international destinations as part of its winter schedule. With new direct connections from both Thessaloniki and Athens, the Greek airline is offering travelers even more options for exploring Greece and beyond in the months ahead.
New Thessaloniki – Chania Route
Starting October 26, SKY express will launch a new direct route between Thessaloniki and Chania, enhancing connectivity between Northern Greece and Crete throughout the winter season.
Flights will operate:
- Mondays and Wednesdays at 18:35
- Thursdays at 14:00
The route will be served by the airline’s modern Airbus A320neo aircraft, offering improved passenger comfort and greater fuel efficiency.
New Direct Flights from Athens to Barcelona
SKY express is also expanding its international network with the addition of Barcelona. From October 22, the airline will operate five weekly direct flights between Athens and Barcelona, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, using Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The new service complements the airline’s existing route to Madrid, giving travelers even more opportunities to explore Spain with direct connections from the Greek capital.
Daily Athens – Cairo Flights
Further strengthening its international presence, SKY express will launch daily nonstop flights between Athens and Cairo from December 2.
The new route is expected to serve both leisure and business travelers while improving connectivity between Greece and one of North Africa’s most important cultural and commercial destinations.
Growing International Presence
With the addition of Barcelona, SKY express continues to expand its international footprint. The Spanish city joins the airline’s growing network of destinations, which already includes Hamburg, Berlin, Lyon, Lisbon, Madrid, and Tel Aviv.
The latest additions reflect the airline’s ongoing investment in expanding travel options and strengthening direct connections between Greece and key destinations across Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean.
