TAP Air Portugal: New direct connection between Athens and Lisbon starting July 1st

The Portuguese airline TAP is launching a new direct connection between Athens and Lisbon, significantly strengthening air connectivity between Greece and Portugal. The route will begin on July 1 and will operate five times per week, offering more options for both leisure travel and business trips.

During the summer season, Airbus A320neo aircraft will be used, while in winter they will be replaced by smaller Embraer E190 aircraft, depending on demand and the company’s operational planning.

Flights from Lisbon will depart in the late evening on specific days of the week, arriving in Athens early the next morning. Likewise, return flights from Athens will depart early in the morning and arrive in Lisbon a few hours later.

With this addition, TAP aims to improve connectivity between the two countries, facilitate passenger travel, and boost tourism flows, while also promoting Greece and Athens as important destinations for travelers from the Iberian Peninsula.
