There’s still time to be part of one of the Cyclades’ most exciting sporting weekends. The Serifos Sunset Race 2026 returns to Serifos on 12–13 September, bringing together running, open-water swimming and a unique island experience  and online registrations have now been extended until Wednesday, 9 September at 3:00pm.

Whether you’re an experienced athlete or simply looking for a different way to experience Serifos, there’s an event to suit you. Participants can choose between the 5km and 10km running races, taking place on Saturday afternoon, or the 750m, 1.5km and 3km open-water swimming races on Sunday morning. You can also combine running and swimming for an additional challenge.

The running races take place in Vagia, with the 10km starting at 5:45pm and the 5km at 5:50pm — just as the afternoon begins to turn into the evening. On Sunday, swimmers will take to the waters off Avlomonas Beach at Isalos Beach Bar, with all three swimming distances starting at 11:00am.

Beyond the competition itself, Serifos Sunset Race is an opportunity to experience the island in a completely different way, surrounded by its landscapes, beaches and unmistakable Cycladic atmosphere.

Haven’t registered yet? This is your last chance. Choose your race, secure your place and get ready for an unforgettable weekend in Serifos.
