Mar-Bella Collection is expanding its presence across Greece with the addition of Cayo Exclusive Resort & Spa in Crete, marking a new step in the growth of the family-owned hospitality group.

Located above Plaka Bay, near Elounda, Cayo is a five-star resort known for its contemporary architecture, terraced design and panoramic views of Spinalonga Island. The property combines modern luxury and privacy with a strong connection to the Cretan landscape.

Cayo features 116 accommodation options, including rooms and suites, many with private pools and sea views, alongside dining, wellness and leisure facilities. Its architecture, designed by Italian designer Gian Paolo Venier, blends contemporary design with elements inspired by Greek and Cretan traditions.

The addition of Cayo represents an important geographical expansion for Mar-Bella Collection, whose portfolio has included properties in destinations such as Corfu, Parga and Epirus. With the resort in Crete, the group further expands its presence across Greece’s leading luxury destinations.

According to Mar-Bella Collection, Cayo shares the group’s focus on Greek hospitality, thoughtful design, a strong sense of place and memorable experiences.

With its distinctive setting overlooking Elounda Bay and Spinalonga, Cayo brings a distinctly Cretan character to the growing Mar-Bella Collection portfolio.
