Rhodes is set to welcome a new chapter in luxury hospitality as Accor’s MGallery Collection joins forces with the renowned Colossos SA to develop MGallery Rhodes, an adults-only beachfront resort in Kallithea, scheduled to open in spring 2027.
Overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea, the new resort is designed as more than just a hotel—it will be a refined sanctuary where contemporary elegance meets the natural beauty of Rhodes. At the heart of the development is a striking ten-storey spiral-shaped building, thoughtfully designed to ensure that all 222 guestrooms, suites, and bungalows enjoy uninterrupted sea views. Privacy is a defining feature of the resort, with 50 private pools set amid beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens.
Gastronomy and Wellness Take Centre Stage
MGallery Rhodes promises a fully immersive luxury experience. Guests will be able to explore an exceptional culinary offering, including a fine dining restaurant alongside four distinctive themed dining venues. The resort’s signature cocktail bar is expected to become one of the island’s premier social destinations.
Wellness will also play a central role, with a 1,100-square-metre spa featuring cutting-edge treatments developed in partnership with prestigious Swiss skincare brands Valmont and Swiss Perfection.
A Strategic Investment for Rhodes
The project represents a significant investment in strengthening Rhodes’ position as a leading luxury destination in the Mediterranean. Maud Bailly, CEO of Accor’s Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems brands, highlighted the importance of the new addition. Drawing on her extensive experience in the Greek market, having previously overseen the group’s operations across Southern Europe, she said:
“The hotel we are developing in Rhodes beautifully captures the essence of the island, reflecting everything today’s travellers seek from a modern luxury escape.”
With a strong commitment to sustainable development and respect for the island’s cultural heritage, MGallery Rhodes is poised to become a new landmark for discerning travellers seeking an authentic and sophisticated stay on the legendary Island of the Knights.
