AEGEAN Prepares to Relaunch Middle East Flight Network

Following a temporary pause due to regional security concerns, AEGEAN has announced the phased return of its flight schedule across the Middle East. The airline initially halted operations to several key destinations to ensure passenger safety amidst fluctuating stability in the area.

With conditions now stabilizing, the carrier is moving forward with a structured reopening of these corridors.

Upcoming Service Resumptions

The airline will reactivate its network in stages, beginning with its primary hub connections and expanding to regional routes throughout May:

  • Late April: Flights between Athens and Tel Aviv are scheduled to restart on April 28, followed by the Heraklion to Tel Aviv route on April 30.

  • Late May: A significant expansion is set for May 21, including:

    • Tel Aviv connections from both Larnaca and Rhodes.

    • Athens departures to both Amman and Riyadh.
