Travellers planning their summer 2027 holidays will have two more direct flight options between Greece and the UK, following easyJet’s latest network expansion.
The airline is adding Thessaloniki and Rhodes to two London airports that were not previously served on these routes, opening up new possibilities for both British visitors and Greek travellers.
From 1 May 2027, passengers will be able to fly directly from Thessaloniki to London Luton, with the service operating every Saturday. The route gives travellers in Northern Greece another way to reach the UK capital, while making Thessaloniki more accessible to visitors looking for a city break or a wider trip around northern Greece.
A few days earlier, on 27 April, easyJet will begin flying between Rhodes and London Southend twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The new service is particularly convenient for travellers from Essex and the surrounding areas, with Southend offering an alternative to London’s larger airports.
The additions form part of easyJet’s wider Summer 2027 programme, as the airline continues to expand its presence across the Greek market. Both routes are already available for booking, giving travellers the opportunity to secure flights well ahead of next year’s holiday season.
For visitors from the UK, the new services add flexibility when choosing where to spend their Greek summer, while travellers from Greece gain more options for reaching London without a connecting flight.
With the UK remaining an important source market for Greek tourism, increased connectivity could also make it easier for visitors to combine popular island destinations such as Rhodes with longer trips around Greece.
