Ora Developers, led by Naguib Sawiris—the Egyptian-born entrepreneur with a major presence in Greece across telecommunications, technology, and real estate—is launching a new luxury project in Mykonos.

Valued at over €100 million, the resort will feature 93 keys and a signature “floating rock bar.” This project serves as the debut for a new brand that will act as an umbrella for the Sawiris group’s global luxury property portfolio.

While the project was originally scheduled to launch this season, development was delayed due to the island’s ongoing regulatory, licensing, and zoning challenges. According to the updated timeline, the new luxury resort is now set to officially open in May 2027.
