Greece’s popular “Tourism for All” program is returning with significant upgrades for 2026-2027, offering more citizens the opportunity to travel while supporting destinations across the country throughout the year.
The new program, recently published in the Government Gazette, expands eligibility criteria, increases support for families, and places a strong emphasis on accessible and inclusive tourism.
One of the biggest changes is the extension of the program into two phases running through the end of 2027, helping maintain a steady flow of domestic tourism beyond the traditional summer season. In fact, 70% of the available budget will be allocated to travel between October and April, encouraging visitors to discover mountain villages, rural escapes, and lesser-known destinations during the quieter months.
The income limits have also been increased, allowing more middle-income households to qualify. At the same time, individuals with disabilities (67% and above) and families with children with disabilities will be able to participate regardless of income, marking a major step toward greater accessibility.
Large families will receive additional support, with an extra €50 subsidy for every child from the fourth child onward, while overall voucher amounts will range from €200 to €600, depending on the travel period and beneficiary category.
Applications are expected to open in August 2026, with beneficiaries selected through an electronic lottery. The program will continue to use a digital voucher card, making the process simple, transparent, and easy to access.
With its focus on inclusion, year-round travel, and support for local economies, “Tourism for All 2026-2027” aims to make discovering Greece more accessible than ever.
